Thank you, deer reader. The reactions to this poem have been so interesting - clearly a moment of impact no matter which side of the aisle we were on as children
What a sweetly clever poem. Reminded me of my sex ed class eons ago, which I had forgotten. We’d try to turn the condoms into balloons. Was there a cucumber???
You goddamn harlots and your underwear insouciance, always mucking things up. You best call me. *eyes*
Ha!!! underwear insouciance! ❤️
Yes'm.
First thing we must always do is monitor the girls' behavior, so they won't tempt
the boys. Girls are responsible for all the bad things boys want to do, after
all. great poem.
Thank you Linda! I realized at some point that I wasn’t chasing the girls as much as I was racing the boys.
Imagine what school might teach if we had our kids best interest at heart…
open everything to everyone.
no pre suppositions about
sports, courses, etc. no body shaming or hair and clothes rules. bathrooms for all. food free to school kids. could we do it?
Could we? Oh yes
Does it interest those in power? Not in the slightest
As AOC says, we must be ready to brawl. Vote against those who won't do it. And take away their money.
they have nothing without their money. no souls.
I'm from NJ by the way.
Enjoyed the poem, despite the memories it conjures.
